2009 Bid For Better Health Auction

As most of you know, our TMSA organization includes spouses of physicians in training in the Triangle area (Duke and UNC). The larger organization, NCMSA, is based in Raliegh and includes spouses of physicians who have completed their medical training. Our organization is listed on their website and a few of our board members are members of this Alliance as well as the National AMA Alliance. Our state Alliance, NCMSA wanted us to share this special event they are hosting.

The NC Medical Society Alliance is hosting
the 2009 Bid for Better Health, an online auction dedicated to supporting Alliance health promotion projects and grants.

Everyone is invited to click the link below to preview some of the wonderful items that will be up for bid beginning this Sunday, October 25.

The online auction will feature art, jewelry, travel, sports tickets, and collectibles including some special items showcasing the talents of NC physicians and Alliance members. Thank you to all that have donated to the 2009 Bid for Better Health.

Proceeds from the auction will support upcoming statewide and local Alliance projects focusing on improving physical fitness, nutrition, teen health literacy and other health-related projects benefiting North Carolina communities.

Be sure to to make a healthy bid in support of Alliance programs and efforts to improve health in North Carolina. The auction will end on November 8 by midnight.

Educate and Relate Session: Nov 12 7:30 PM

We are so excited to have our first ever Alliance "Educate and Relate" session. Our speaker wil be James Rainsford, Attorney at Law with Brown Law, LLP in Raleigh. He is married to a physician, so he will bring great insight and advice for all of us! Please mark the date and plan to attend.
