We recently held another successful Education Session for our Alliance members. Amanda Marshall, Director of Physician Recruiting at Assurgent Medical Solutions, shared her knowledge and expertise on the recruiting lifecycle for Physicians. The event was held at Bocci Trattoria and Pizzeria and we had 13 people in attendance. The session provided valuable information on best practices for job searching as well as what to expect during the recruiting process. Thank you to everyone who attended and a special thank you to Amanda.

Thanks to Members...
We had a wonderful outing at the Pumpkin Patch last weekend. Thanks to everyone who joined TMSA in welcoming Fall!
Also, thank you to TMSA members who helped prepare and serve a meal last month at the Ronald McDonald House in Chapel Hill. Over forty people were served a home cooked meal prepared by TMSA members. Thank you for your time and generosity to give back to the community!

We are very excited to announce our first Educate/Relate session of the 2010-2011 year...
After years and years of medical training, how do you find that perfect first job? Topics covered will include when to start the job search, best practices for finding jobs, private practice vs. academic practice, negotiating contracts, etc.
